When working with highly sensitive data, security is paramount. Our secure process begins with the uplift of your equipment. We engage directly with our customers to mutually agree the level and type of transportation required for secure data and arrange appropriate forms of carriage, ensuring there is a secure chain of custody end to end.
All staff members have uniforms, carry identification and are Disclosure Scotland checked.
We only use our own vehicles which are hard sided and fitted with the Skyline Auto GPS Tracking system. This allows Haven Management and customers to track progress of the vehicle from our customer’s site to Haven facility. It also has an emergency function to alert Haven of any unexpected occurrences. This ensures we take every possible precaution to protect customer data whilst in transit from customer sites.
All data bearing equipment is transported directly to Haven’s secure facility which is located in a Business Watch area and covered by external CCTV. Customers are able to monitor the arrival and off-loading of the vehicle remotely in real time. Access to the yard is through a locked perimeter fence controlled by secure swipe-card entry. All visitors must sign in and are accompanied at all times.
EFACs, a bespoke ERP and Asset Management tool is used to manage the movement of all goods handled by the business. EFACs tracks all equipment at every stage of the process. The system captures all relevant information about the customer, the equipment to be collected and the logistics involved. From start to finish EFACs can track every job that has been carried out by Haven Recycle and also every piece of equipment that has arrived on site.
